Charlotte Area Independent Schools (CAIS)

Dr. Heidi Limbrunner is an approved assessment provider for the Charlotte Area Independent Schools (CAIS). As part of the application process, your child will complete a cognitive assessment individually with Dr Heidi Limbrunner. 

• For students applying to their JK/TK, Kindergarten, or 1st Grade year, the Wechsler Preschool & Primary Scale of Intelligence-Fourth Edition (WPPSI-IV) is individually administered.  Appointments typically last between 45 to 60 minutes.

• For students applying to their 2nd, 3rd of 4th grade year, the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children-Fifth Edition (WISC-V) is individually administered. Appointments typically last 60 to 90 minutes.

• The fee for the assessment is $275.
